Chris Speir

I'm Chris Speir, the founder of Speir Outdoors‚ a thriving online community focused on primitive camping and survival skills. I've spent my entire life immersed in the outdoors, from camping and hunting to fishing, and along the way, I've honed the art of wilderness survival with minimal resources. Speir Outdoors was born out of my passion for teaching these skills to others who share a love for the great outdoors. I'm also the author of Primitive Camping & Bushcraft and the host of the Primitive Camping & Bushcraft Podcast, where I dive deeper into these essential outdoor skills and share my experiences from the field.

When I'm not teaching survival techniques, filming videos, or podcasting, I'm behind the lens as a professional wildlife photographer. I call southern Mississippi home, and it's where I draw much of my inspiration.
