Well worth price paid

My 4th kayak, handles well in choppy lake water, carried on my f150 5 ft. box tail gate up or down. Use for fishing and like all kayaks is difficult to reach in back when on the water. The 32in. with keeps her steady at 5'10", 185 lbs. I am very satisfied.

This is a great value, 200lbs limit

This is a cheap yak. It does not pretend to be anything more than a cheap yak. That said, for anyone (and gear) below 200 pounds, this is the best damn cheap yak you can buy. It is well though out, for a short yak, it tracks well enough, it has all the basics covered. It is light and easy to care with two people... manageable...barely...with one.

My person, me, the human, is the definition of 200lbs...on the dot. I would not take this out, personally, with anything on it. My kid who is 120lbs and loves to fish is EXACTLY who this is designed for.

If you are 165lbs and fish, you are probably the realistic limit for this craft

Fat guy in a little boat

I bought this on a whim even though everything I read about Kayak capacities said I would flood it out. All the other positive reviews could very well be from normal-sized humans so if you are looking for one from a big 'un, here it is. I am 6 ft. 260 and all the experts say I should be in a kayak with a capacity of 375 or more. I figured at the price, if I sunk it I could pass it off to my daughter and go bigger. I have taken it out several times without issue, and without the scupper plugs in it. Without the plugs, I can see the water pretty close to the top of the holes but it only comes in if I'm rocking it pretty hard. I certainly did rock it. riding a bit deeper than it was probably designed for I gave it some good tests, got in the shallows, grabbed the handles and pitched it back and forth good and hard, no problem. Got it up to speed and cut it hard, never felt like I was going to fall out. These antics did convince me to keep the plugs in under the seat for subsequent paddles. With those in, I stay completely dry.
So in short, fat guy approved for this little boat. It is also Grand Caravan approved, as it fits in the back with the hatch closed. However it is not daughter approved because she can't have it now, she'll have to get her own. Speaking of Caravan approved, it is so easy to haul to the river in the van, I don't think twice about tossing it in the back. I park at the boat ramp, throw it up on a shoulder and walk the 60 or 70 feet down to the water. Too Easy
