Great easy anchor option

Great throw & go setup perfect for rivers, inshore/flats fishing, or when you really want to concentrate on working a bank or brush pile. Love the bag to keep it all together.

Anchors away!

The kit comes with good quality line. I re-rigged the line to the bottom of the anchor with a shackle, and used a thin ziptie to hold the line to the top. That way if it gets stuck, when you yank it hard enough, the tie breaks and pulls it free from the bottom. Avoiding having to cut the line and losing your anchor. I think the best part of this kit is the bag. The last thing you want is loose cordage sliding around on your kayak. This kit is a winner!

Don't forget the anchor!

A very simple device that causes a whole lot of confusion. Vibe's 3lb anchor kit comes with everything you need to stop you from drifting out of that perfect spot. 30 foot of rope, the anchor, a float, and a very nice bag to carry everything in. I generally just toss the bag in my kayak so I have the anchor if I need it. If I don't, then everything is very easy to load back up. My suggestion is to check out videos on YouTube that show you the proper way to rig up a grapnel anchor. Here's a hint. The line is attached to the BOTTOM of the anchor, and an easy to break zip tie then attaches the line to the TOP of the anchor. That way, you can save your anchor if it gets caught under water. Also, make sure you attach your float properly. The idea behind the float is to allow you to find your anchor if you need to cut the line of disengage the anchor line from the kayak.
